Crisis support

  • If you need urgent help for your mental health, call 111 and select the mental health option (option 2) or get help from 111 online.

  • SANEline offers support and information from 4.00pm–10.00pm: 0300 304 7000.

Mind

CALM

  • The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is a is a support line open for everyone, and is open from 5pm–midnight, 365 days a year: 0800 58 58 58.

  • The Silver Line is a line, open 24/7, for those over the age of 55: 0800 4708 090.

Refuge

  • Refuge supports those who have experienced domestic violence by offering refuges and recovery services
  • Their helpline is open 24/7, every day: 0808 2000 247.

The Survivors Trust

  • The Survivors Trust aims to support and empower survivors of rape, sexual violence and/or childhood sexual abuse.
  • Their helpline is open Monday-Thursday 10am-12.30pm, 1.30pm-3pm & 6pm-8pm, Friday 10am-12.30pm & 1.30pm-3pm, Saturday 10am-12.30pm, Sunday 6pm-8pm: 0808 801 0818

NSPCC

  • The NSPCC offer support and help for children affected by abuse.
  • If you are worried about a child, email [email protected] or call 0808 800 5000. Their helpline is available from 11am-5pm Monday-Friday.

  • Action on Addiction provide information, residential rehab and community based addiction treatment.

  • Addaction is a drug and alcohol charity working with adults and young people, in community settings, in prisons, in residential rehab and through outreach.
