Happiful Magazine and Counselling Directory presents Podfest For Mental Health on Saturday 30 March, alongside The Naked Professors, What I Wish I’d Known and The Book of Man
On 20 March 2019, Happiful Magazine will be two years old. In the past two years, we have heard and shared the stories of many including people who are in the middle of mental health challenges and others who are at a point of recovery and want to pass on their understanding.
We’ve heard from individuals, mental health care professionals, advocates, charities and high profile speakers - all of whom have led the way in de-stigmatising mental illness and elevating the conversation around the fact that we all have mental health.
At the beginning of this year, to add to the continuing conversation, we launched our podcast with Counselling Directory - I am. I have. The podcast explores that while we may experience mental illness, it doesn’t define the person we are. We are all a million things and we change and evolve over time, as our mental state might too.
We’ve loved hearing from our guests, including our March cover star Munroe Bergdorf, Co-Founder of The Book of Man Martin Robinson, Ben Bidwell (AKA The Naked Professor), Vlogger Estee Lalonde and advocate Jo Love - and there’s many more to come...
And Happiful wants to share more and keep raising awareness, to keep the conversation going and expanding until mental health and illness is on a par with physical health and illness.
So, along with other podcasts that have a focus on our mental health too, we are bringing together a day of live recordings on Saturday 30 March at Kings Place in London.
