Buying Happiful in print
Where can I buy the magazine?
You can find the magazine on the shelves in Tesco, Morrisons, Asda, and Waitrose. You can check which stores near you stock Happiful with our store finder.
Can I order copies of the magazine online?
Yes! You can order individual copies and buy subscriptions in our online shop.
Can I buy back copies?
Yes! You can also order back copies from our online shop.
Can I subscribe to the magazine?
Yes! You can buy subscriptions of varying lengths in our online shop or alternatively, you can subscribe for free online here.
Where is my magazine?
If you have a subscription or have bought a magazine online, your order will be fulfilled by Newsstand. In the first instance, please direct your enquiry to Newsstand by emailing them at email@example.com or calling them on +44 (0)1227 277248.
I subscribed to the digital magazine, is it definitely free?
Yes! The digital magazine is completely free and you will not be charged. We do not take any payment details from you, just your email address so we can send you your magazine each month.
I haven't received my copy of the e-magazine
If you’ve subscribed to the digital magazine online, remember to click on the link in the confirmation email we send through to make sure you start receiving the e-mag as soon as possible. If you have confirmed but it still isn't coming through, check you spam folder. If it did end up in there, check the box that says 'mark as not spam' to make sure it goes into your inbox in the future.
I want to write for the magazine. How do I go about this?
The first step is to read the contributor’s guidelines, these guidelines will help you craft an effective pitch and have details of how to contact us. To give yourself the best chance of being featured in Happiful magazine, or online, make sure that you have read previous issues, understand our voice, and the type of content that we publish.
Do you pay contributors?
We pay freelance writers for work published in Happiful magazine and rates are decided on a case-by-case basis.
I've sent Happiful a pitch but haven't heard back.
We receive a large number of pitches every day, but do endevour to reply to every one of them eventually. To allow us enough time to fully consider your idea, please wait one week before sending a follow up.
I want to write a True Story, what do I do next?
First, have a look at previously published True Stories, such as Henrietta's, Sarah's, or Eleanor's to get an idea of the type of story, structure, and tone of these pieces. If you think this is something that you want to do for us, send us a brief outline of your story to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will be in touch shortly.
Do you pay for True Stories?
In order to maintain the authenticity of our True Stories, we do not pay for these.
I work for an amazing organisation, will you write about us?
Happiful regularly features charities, non-profit organisations, and social enterprises that are doing good in the world. If you work for an organisation making a change for the better, please send us a press release to email@example.com.
Do Happiful accept advertisements and product reviews?
This is judged on a case by case basis. However, all advertisements have to be relevant to mental health and our mission to create a healthier, happier society.
